FDFS Reporting Manager - Group Wholesale Credit and Market Risk - HSBC
As part of FDSF (Firm Data Submission Framework) all data elements have an assigned owner. Group Wholesale Credit and Market Risk( WCMR ) are the owners of 3 data fields. The Roleholder is required to assist in developing, managing and performing all processes necessary in order to achieve sign-off of the data elements. WCMR also perform an overall review of the FDSF templates for consistency with WCMR's understanding of the business and trends with in. The Roleholder is required to assist in developing, managing and performing all processes necessary in order to perform this review.
This will require developing an understanding of system data flows and processes and developing appropriate processes and procedures to be followed at site, region and group level. Over time WCMR may become the owner of additional data elements.
The Roleholder may be required to assist on other areas of reporting such as the Annual Report and Accounts, Pillar 3 and IFRS 9
Essential skills and experience

Knowledge of current accounting and regulatory developments;

Knowledge of PRA and other regulatory reporting requirements (especially credit risk);

Knowledge and experience of Basel III/CRDIV preferable;

Previous experience in a reporting role essential;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral;

Self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team;

Good mathematical and analytical skills;

Ability to work under pressure, report to tight deadlines and deal effectively with issues as they arise.

An understanding of HSBC's FDSF processes would be an advantage.
