I have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Associate Director with an award-winning health communications agency that delivers first class medical communications and PR strategy, and tactical delivery for UK and global healthcare clients.

Role

He/she will help drive excellent project delivery for the client with the opportunity to work across a range of UK and global communications projects potentially covering medical education work on projects with expert groups of Physicians, and also supporting PR and media relations and supporting patient advocacy.

You will be joining a truly successful and fun small team at an early stage of its evolution that promotes emphasis on learning and development from a team of experienced and senior people.

This is fun and friendly environment where the successful candidate will be fully supported in their role working in close collaboration with the Senior Director.

Key functions

1.Client Account Management
-Work with senior members of the team to drive delivery of agreed client programmes of work ensuring quality, consistency, value for money for client and probability
-Help to manage the workflow for some of the virtual team of writers, designer, event manager to deliver for clients in a timely fashion considering the days/times that virtual team members are available and managing work flows accordingly

2.New Business Development
-Assisting with ongoing management of communications and marketing
-Assist with development of new business proposals and presentations
-Assist with development of detailed, accurate tactical proposals and budgets for existing and potential new clients

3.Routine administrative tasks

Skills/Requirements

-2 - 3 years in healthcare communications (work access medical education, PR and advocacy)
-Familiar with UK ABPI code and global pharma compliance processes
-Familiar with and comfortable using ZINC client approval system
-Some experience of co-ordinating logistical elements of small meetings up to large events
-Have an aptitude for writing for different audiences (HCPs, media, business planning, internal communications) with accuracy and precision
-Experience with therapy areas (Immunology, Prostrate Cancer, Hemophilia A, Women's Health/Long-Acting Contraception, Depression)
