Shmoop (www.shmoop.com) is a digital curriculum company that makes learning, teaching, and test prep materials that are--dare we say it--awesome, thrilling, spectacular, magnificent, unforgettable, and...smart. Really smart. We are on the hunt for a Videographer who can help us create awesome.Responsibilities:
Contribute to the production of Shmoop's live videos for their Careers section. You will be wrangling contacts to interview, get their story on camera and send Shmoop the raw footage and audio.
Requirements:
- Organized; can prioritize and juggle a few video projects at once
- Experience with live production filming
- Ninja-like prowess in video and audio
- Experience using Dropbox, Google Docs, and/or similar products
- Passionate about the movie-making process
- Sharp eye for the right angle and a good story
Bonus Points:
- Artistic ability and a good eye for design
- Active blogger, social network butterfly, follower of Interweb memes, and lover of pop culture
- Can bring out the Shmoopy voice - edgy, witty, current, youthful - from interviewees
- Experience in interviews
This is a remote position and can be done from anywhere.
