Description

The work involves producing short articles that bring law alive for gifted and talented sixth form students (16-18 year olds). The aim is to make the students think about issues within the law industry more widely and must fulfil the following criteria:

- Give a sense of the nature of the law industry. What ways is it likely to change in the future? What is preventing it from changing in response to certain issues?
- Provide a critical understanding of the theory that underpins law. Shed light on some of the historical or cultural influences that have shaped our interpretations of justice.
- Provide an insight into the experience of working in law. Explain the various different career paths within law, what the everyday work would involve and the skills required to excel.
- Draw on current affairs and highlight recent developments in the field.
- Build appropriate links to other websites.
- Written in an engaging and snappy style +700words

The ideal candidate will be someone who has legal knowledge. They should also have had experience in writing articles or blogging and be able to build links effectively.
