Senior Audit Consultant- Asset Management- South East
Our global asset management client are currently looking to recruit an Audit Consultant. The post will involve responsibility for a range of assignments related to the audit plan and to ensure that risks are mitigated and the control environment is operating effectively.
Location: South East
Rate: £500-£560/day
Duration: 6 months+
Key Skills:
- Extensive auditing experience in an internal or external audit function.
- Experience in a mutual funds environment or within the financial services industry is essential.
- Good report writing skills.
- Project management skills.
- An Accountancy qualification and 'big four' experience is preferred.
Role to include:
- Scoping and planning the work to be performed.
- The execution and documentation of audit testing using best practice.
- The identification of areas in need of improvement and development of action plans.
- Ad hoc investigations as requested by senior management.
Other language skills eg German, French, Indian or Asian languages.are beneficial.
