Global linux engineer - Utrecht - 8 months

Key Skills: Apache; IT Security; RHEL5 en RHEL6; Red Hat Satellite 5, Hypervisors, Storage solutions, Database systems

Amoria Bond is looking for a global linux engineer for a large client based in Utrecht. As a Global Linux Engineer within the Data Centre Technical Services Engineering team, you will design, develop and implement Linux based IT infrastructure solutions on local, regional or global level and make optimal use of the existing or new technologies in order to meet current and future business demands. In your role as Global Linux Engineer you will contribute to the organisation with the required knowledge and experience to leverage on standardisation and innovation.

Key Skills and experience required:
*Converged computing; Blade server technology
*Hypervisors like Xen and/or KVM
*Distributed infrastructures
*Storage solutions like DAS, NAS, SAN and storage networks like FC, iSCSI and FCoE
*Conceptual knowledge of Database systems and components (Oracle)
*IBM WebSphere and JBoss is preferred not required

Personal skills
*Service oriented, can-do mentality
*Strong analytical abilities
*Able to perform in a dynamic environment
*Organization sensitivity
*Must be prepared to work abroad when required
