Freelance System Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks:
. Be part of a IaaS team implementing Cloud Technologies and in particular automation of services and provisioning (based on VMware/VRealize technology).
. Service design and Process design.
. Together with the Solution Architect and the Platform Architect, analyse Business requests and translate them into a Detailed Level Design related to the bank strategy.
. Propose optimal solutions, based on the Group standards.
. Be responsible of problem solving.
. Write documentation
. Analyse existing infrastructure and propose innovations.
SKILLS
. Owner of a Master or Bachelor degree, 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years as System Engineer.
. Very good knowledge of Wintel (Windows OS, Microsoft Cluster,..) or VM Ware technologies (vSphere 5.x/6.x, ESXi, vCentre,..) but also general knowledge of VMWare Vitalisation.
. Design and architecture skills.
. Knowledge of Scripting PowerShell/Javascript are a plus.
. Knowledge of Network and Storage is a plus.
. Strong communication skills (written & verbal) towards all levels.
. Service oriented.
. Creative, analytical, forward thinking with advice capabilities.
. Deadlines and planning respect.
. Dynamic and well organised.
. Team player, stress resistant.
