Role Description:

  • This position is a CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) Integration Test Lead within Risk and Finance IT, based in the US.
  • The successful candidate is an experienced but hands-on Test Lead. Responsibilities will include defining the Program Test Strategy and owning the delivery of testing for the CCAR Integration program. The role will require outstanding communication skills, team management and the ability to work in a global team with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all QA activities and processes across the team, both onshore and offshore
  • Manage and provide direction to team members to ensure effective project definition, planning, development, and delivery.
  • Develop a detailed integrated test plan, including environment and data strategy and scope negotiation
  • Define and maintain program budget, test effort estimation, team resource plans and resource planning across multiple work streams
  • Plan, Execute and Monitor a detailed integration test cycle/s for the CCAR IT Program
  • Identify and manage testing risks and issues and is able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, mitigation plans to project stakeholders and management
  • Monitor test progress and provides status reports
  • Ensure clarity of testing levels at all times to make sure all testing meets the requirements of the IT delivery life cycle and complies with business and program needs
  • Acting as an escalation/resolution point for integration testing issues
  • Partner with the environment and infrastructure teams to ensure test environment availability and stability
  • Review business and technical requirements as needed
  • End-to-End Integration Testing Requirements
  • Identify integration points between applications, releases and data
  • Oversee and partner with test teams and Workstreams to identify and establish testing data sets, environments, testing scope, integration test plans, test metrics, defect prioritization and defect remediation calls
  • Work with end-users, developers and testing teams to ensure defects are identified, tracked, and prioritized correctly

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience leading a Quality Assurance team of 8-10 people
  • Has a proven track record of establishing project goals, milestones, and procedures, defining roles and responsibilities, acquiring project resources, monitoring project progress, and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong project management skills especially in the areas of resource, time, budget and risk management processes
  • Ability to present and interact comfortably with senior and executive level management
  • Ability to clearly articulate key points both written and verbally
  • Managing and maintaining budgetary controls
  • Soft skills required to work with an executive team: high level communication skills, influence management, and good presentation ability
  • Strong analytical and facilitation skills to ensure business needs and effective solutions can be clearly and rapidly understood and delivered
  • Highly productive with optimal time management skills, is able to work to deadlines achieve results under time pressure without compromising quality
  • Demonstrated understanding of Object Oriented Design & concepts, SDLC
  • Experience working with tools like MS Office, MS Project, Quality center
  • Regulatory/Risk experience and domain knowledge of CCAR including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, PPNR, RWA, Capital, etc. is a must.
