Quality Engineer
Location: County Durham
Initial 6 month contract
Adopting the lead role for the product group within this global manufacturer you will act as the key interface for design, manufacturing and the external customer. Ensuring products are manufactured to specification, within regulatory and legislative requirements and to internal quality expectations you will also offer field quality support in this regulated environment.
You will act as the voice of the customer whilst managing quality engagement through the outsourced suppliers and manage internal testing procedures.
In addition you will manage aftermarket warranty and customer complaints to enhance product quality and strive towards robust production controls.
Candidate
With experience supporting products through the NPI/NPD process you will be familiar with outsourced manufacturing and complex supply chains and have previously coordinated quality control procedures connecting design, testing and manufacturing.
You will be well versed in manufacturing scale up to launch and have exemplary levels of initiative, integrity and attention to detail.
