Internal Communications Manager - Edinburgh - 6 month contract
Our client based in Edinburgh has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Internal Communications Manager.
Duties will include:
- Managing all corporate communications across the business
- Managing several communications channels
- Strategic planning and day-to-day tactical delivery
- Deliver clear, persuasive, accurate and accessible information relating to all aspects of the business
- Develop and implement Communications Plans to support business need
- Provide a professional editing and writing service
- Manage, develop and support an internal communications team
- Compile effective business cases to support communications as necessary
- Identify budgetary requirements, prepare bids and manage within budgetary limits
Essentials:
- Experience of communicating complex change to all levels of an organisation, tailoring the message and/or delivery channel to suit the target audience need
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver against and often competing deadlines
- First-class written communication with an excellent attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Working as part of a senior management team to create strategy and deliver communication plans that benefit the whole business
- Excellent influencing and relationship-building skills
- Experience of working in, or with teams, delivering projects in an agile environment
- Experience of working in, or having the understanding of the complexity of an organisation undertaking a change programme for example a digital transformation programme
