Job Description

The Compensation and Benefits Senior Analyst will be reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Director, to lead and participate in Reward and People projects, provide advice on company pay and benefits policies, interpret & analyse data, research and present recommendations & reports. Research best practices and project manage annual Reward processes.

  • Point of contact for Day to Day Compensation and Benefits related queries from HR Business Partners and HR Support team.
  • Support the Director Compensation and Benefits in managing and leading Reward and wider People projects.
  • Documenting, developing and improving robust Compensation and Benefits processes and practices.
  • Providing deep and meaningful analysis of the compensation market including trends.
  • Annual Process Support
  • Pay Review - Support the compensation and benefits team and People Business Partners in the annual pay review.
  • Bonus Scheme - Support the compensation team and People Business Partners in the annual bonus review.
  • Support the Director Compensation and Benefits in preparing management sign off presentations including CEO.
  • Support the Director Compensation and Benefits on annual benefits renewal processes.
  • Update benefits providers with starter and leaver information, execute benefits administration.
  • Liaise with third party providers to ensure the timely settlement of accounts.
  • Market Data, Benchmarking and Job Evaluation
  • Responsible for the coordination and creation of salary survey submissions and the required analysis of results
  • Fulfilment of ad-hoc benchmarking requests.
  • Responsible for the creation of Job evaluations
  • Projects - Support the Director Compensation and Benefits in management of Reward projects for eg Global Job Grading, Merger & Acquisition due Diligence, Reorganisations & Restructures.

Job demands

  • University Degree or equivalent in a related field required (HRM, Finance, Business administration).
  • 3-5 years broad experience in Compensation & Benefits ideally acquired through Consulting or Blue Chip organisation.
  • Flexible approach with a sense of urgency.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis techniques.
  • Numerate and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • IT literate with advanced Excel.
  • Working in conjunction with International Benefits Manager on annual benefits renewal processes.
  • Up-to-date of new labor and social legislations which affect employees' Benefits.
  • Support projects on the International Benefits arena.
  • Support the Pension and Benefits communication (including Total Reward Statements).

Language: Fluent English and preferable Dutch

Location: Amsterdam region

Start: April 2016
