Description
Our customer has a GFI Sub Programme which is responsible for coordinating sourcing of new data into in the common data warehouse (CDW) and for designing, implementing, testing and deploying data out solutions for Treasury, Credit and Capital risk reporting from CDW.
This assignment will work across projects in managing the functional work stream for each imitative.
For each project, the functional lead is responsible for defining requirements, creating data out design and manage the Business Analyst resources in the team.
The Functional Lead will work closely with both IT and business resources from both source systems and consuming systems as well as architects, developers, testers and other IT analysts.
Skills:
* The (large and complex) IT environment and the scale of the organisation, implies a high degree of complexity and experience of working in such environments is needed
* The Functional Lead must be able to drive the requirements and design processes independently and with a proactive mind set to ensure progress and need to be able to coordinate a large number of different stakeholders during requirements gathering and data in/out design and implementation
* Functional experience in Treasury, Credit and Capital Risk reporting is required
* Team management experience (functional team or similar) is required
* Experience of working within data warehouse solutions is preferred
* Working in multi-vendor environments including offshore teams is preferred
