Description

An exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Events Executive, initially engaged on a 3 month contract with likely option of long term extension. This is a fabulous opportunity for someone relatively new (1-3 years experience) in Marketing & Events.

Working with the Marketing Communications team the role is to provide marketing, communications and events support across several business units.

Key Responsibilities:

*Provide support to trade shows and exhibitions to ensure the Company is promoted effectively and professionally and that the presence reflects the brand.

This includes:
*Booking events and exhibitions space as directed by the Communications Manager
*Organising stand equipment, collateral, giveaways, logistics with suppliers
*Co-ordinating event attendance with SMT, sales and marketing team including accommodation arrangements where required
*Pre and post event communication, budgets and contract administration
*Collating event presentational material and organising AV for demo's
*Use CRM or other systems to ensure incoming leads and enquiries are dealt with promptly by the correct person.
*Undertake team administration including efficient processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders to ensure excellent relationships with suppliers.
*Work with the broader Marketing Communications team to manage the production and distribution of all marketing, communications and sales support collateral to support the marketing effort of the business.
*Support outbound direct marketing activities as required.
*Contribute to the generation of internal news stories and ensure these are distributed effectively.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
*Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
*Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office
*Excellent time management and organisation skills
*Experience of marketing and events
*Experience of using content management systems

Qualifications:
*Studying/studied a marketing or communications related qualification (eg CIM, CIPR, Business Management Marketing)
