My client, based in Basingstoke has a large project of work kicking of in May and we are looking for multiple SAR & RF Engineers for a 3 month contract. I know this is some time away but we are looking to complete interviews and get contracts out for this work in the next 2 weeks.

Summary
Job title - Sar Engineer
Location - Basinstoke
Contract Length - 3 months +
Hours of work - 37.5
Rate - £20-25 per hour
Role and Scope
The contractor will be responsible for performing chargeable work through testing and report writing.
Responsibilities
o To undertake chargeable testing, to help in part of report writing and other consulting duties.
o The contractor should be able to perform with minimum supervision once training is completed and should be able to tackle problems in a systematic way.
o To update the company work monitoring systems with accurate details and job status for each item of work for which the contractor is responsible
o Meet customer delivery requirements in all respects.
o To undertake any ad hoc duties as may be required.
Requirement
o Ideal candidate would be someone who has past experience in Electronics Engineering or related work.
o Should be have good hands on technical concepts and implement them.
o Desirable: basic understanding of RF Communication method, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) test method
o Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
o IT skills: good knowledge of Word, Excel.
You may be asked to work shift work but this has not been agreed yet.
I am not looking for 4 years' experience but you must have a good technical knowledge and have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering ideally!
