Description

We are looking for an experienced CRO Manager (conversion rate optimisation specialist) on a contract basis for the Financial Services team of a FTSE listed company based in central London.
The CRO Manager will be responsible for ensuring online sales journeys for Financial Services products provide a customer experience that ensures researching and purchasing products is easy for the customers. A key responsibility of this role is delivering a conversion rate optimisation strategy.

This role will cover products including credit cards, loans and cash ISAs and insurance products. Improving the performance of landing pages and sales journeys for these products is the core responsibility of this role and a crucial initiative that will support commercial targets.

Duties:

  • Co-ordinating changes to the online sales journeys ensuring a market-leading customer experience is delivered.
  • Driving high conversion rates and sales volumes. By using promotional or pricing changes, marketing campaigns, technical initiatives or a continual programme of conversion rate optimisation.
  • Successfully co-ordinate changes across the commercial and technical teams whilst managing a programme of CRO initiatives including A/B slit testing and MVT.
  • Experience of building and managing test using SiteCore's MVT capabilities (other CMS systems considered)
  • Working closely with the FS team, the Head of Digital and digital design and marketing agencies
  • Attend internal and partner meetings and input into campaign planning, website changes and other decisions to ensure every opportunity is taken to maximise the performance of the online sales journeys.
  • Assisting with vendor selection, onsite implementation and then reporting from selected tools, including reviewing user sessions
  • Assessing reports of site issues or improvement suggestions to establish facts and assess likely outcomes.

Skills needed:

  • Strong background in CRO from planning a strategy to launching, managing and presenting back findings and recommending next steps
  • Advanced Analytical and reporting skills
  • MVT and A/B testing experience
  • Experience with a number of CMS'
  • Experience of co-ordinating site changes between commercial and technical teams
  • An awareness of the digital marketing mix - knowledgeable about the different characteristics of the paid search, SEO, affiliates, social media and digital display channels
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Candidates from an agency or client side background will be considered.
  • Applicants must have at least four years of experience managing online journey changes and CRO in the UK for a large brand either directly or via an agency.
  • Previous experience of working with a large financial services, insurance company would be a benefit
  • Experience of Google Analytics
