Description
A leading bank, based in London are in need of experienced Lead Systems Analyst / Solution Architect. The candidate will be responsible for identifying the solution so the Control framework / Operating model for an end to end IT solution is met with the Volcker regulatory requirements. The analyst / solution architect will be responsible for completing the analysis across the Volcker requirements and solution. Coverage will include risk, P&L and trade data systems. This is a long term contract role paying up to £650/day for the right candidateThe successful candidate will have the following:
Must have Investment banking experience.
Must have minimum 5 years' experience in IT Financial Services as a Solution Architect or Systems analyst working on IT projects implementing Control Framework / Operating model.
Must have minimum 10 years' experience working in Global banking and markets in IT.
Experienced in delivering regulatory programmes in a Global Banking & Markets context e.g. DFA, EMIR
Experience with presenting solution design options, in particular for IT solutions for Control Framework / op model
Cross product operational banking knowledge including P&L and Risk
Excellent knowledge of attribute level data across all asset classes and systems.
Breadth of knowledge across asset classes / systems is preferred over depth in one area.
Knowledge of client data and credit data and systems Data sourcing, modelling and analysis experience
Experience in documentation e.g. functional specifications
Familiar with relational database applications and understanding of database structures.
Ideally have 1-2 years PM experience Volcker knowledge and experience preferred.
Alternatively, to have delivered reports which are similar to the Volcker metrics, but delivered via other projects.
