Job Description:

Need a person who can come in and work with the different IT and Marketing teams to create and send out online banking marketing products to their clients and potential clients. We need a candidate who has a mix of technology/software marketing, would specifically like online banking product.

Must be well versed in press releases, technical writing, documentation, project management. Highly desired are a certification in Prosci, LaMarsh or ACMP.

  • Requires some knowledge online banking
  • Project Management and marketing skills required
  • If they have any communications or marketing background that would be ideal
  • Excellent documentation skills ..so someone with training/design in their background would be good
  • Will help write the marketing materials for their new online banking products
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Put together plans and dates, etc. for external communication to potential/current clients by using emails, letters, press releases and collateral that goes out to customers for their new online banking products
  • Use project management skills for tracking and putting together plans and will coordinate with the marketing teams to make sure all documentation and written materials are done correctly to send to customers
  • This person will review the work of others to make sure the written marketing materials look good before they go out to the external customers.
  • A person with a trainer's background that knows how to roll out and market new products would be helpful
  • Must be very organized and know how to keep a project on task and completed on time
  • A person with knowledge of or experience with marketing implementations
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work with different teams
  • As a member of the Banks Program Management Office, you will be responsible for bringing new products and programs to life via internal and client communications as well as keeping stakeholders apprised in the event of a situation that impacts our clients
  • Develop and execute communication plans for key initiatives and projects, coordinating with marketing, training, internal communications, 3rd party agencies, program leadership and business leaders
  • Draft communication emails and paper mailers to Internal and External Clients for review by key stakeholders and Marketing team
  • Translate, synthesize and map initiative details, needs and objectives to marketing objectives and brand positioning
  • Draft initial communication pieces to support objectives
  • Interact regularly with multiple project teams to understand scope, features, internal and external benefits and impacts, schedules and the approaches for implementation, change management and training
  • Interface with Marketing and customer insights to understand and develop communications with internal, customer and client groups, and identify the impacts of program implementation and changes on all stakeholders
  • Advise the program teams and vendors on appropriate application and implementation of the corporate branding to collateral, websites, mobile applications and other related materials
  • Develop internal communication plans to drive program awareness and adoption
  • Monitor and evaluate program and marketing progress and success, reporting to the appropriate stakeholders

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree preferred (Liberal Arts, Marketing, Business, Communications or related field of study)
  • 8+ years experience working within the Communications, Marketing, Media and/or Technology industries required
  • Experience developing comprehensive internal and external communication, training and marketing plans for large-scale, transformational initiatives
  • Outstanding leadership skills
  • Experience planning, executing and coordinating work plans involving multiple departments, teams and vendors
  • Superior writing skills, with ability to create content that concisely conveys complex information into clear messaging that is accessible to a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding active listening skills
  • Creative writing and messaging
  • Understanding of business and technical change management concepts
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate; build trust, consensus and credibility quickly for the purpose of accomplishing work objectives; developing relationships with individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others efforts and points of view

  • Strong proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio for reports, analysis, and presentations
  • Banking/Financial Services experience preferred
