Proteus Europe is searching for a Quality Engineer for one of clients in Holland. They are a global player in cash management sector who are in massive growth.Our Client :-
They are a company which are in growth, being a product of a merger between two companies, consequnetly they have double the amount of products in their product range. They have an enviable reputation in the cash management sector in Europe and America.
Your New role :-
Your role and responsibilities will be to:
- Work to ensure that the configuration of our clients machinery is compliant with internal high standard. Conduct process audits to identify non-conformance and recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Tooling management for related activities for Group - change, correction, improvement, maintenance, audit schedule etc
- Co-ordinate and monitor quality control activities to ensure that products comply with defined specifications and standards.
- Provide technical support, as appropriate, to the supplier and take responsibility for proactively improving the quality and reliability of our products through supplier development activities (to include monitoring and reporting as necessary)
- Identify opportunities for general quality improvements, communicate those opportunities to senior management and assist in their development
- Ensure that customer complaints are addressed in a controlled and expedient fashion, to the satisfaction of the customer, with all remedial actions implemented to prevent further occurrences (Root cause analysis to issue resolution and closure)
- Work closely with thegroup quality team to drive quality initiatives and improvements and assist in the maintenance and development of the quality management systems and procedures to meet third party and customer requirements
- NPI quality activity - Assist in the development of new product documentation and processes including design specification, validation test, pilot production build, pilot production processes including test and measurement (lifetime test, environmental temperature, transportation condition, etc), create method sheets, assembly and test procedures, develop production process to improve manufacturability etc.
- Warranty process support for the group, including issue resolution as required
- Maintain a thorough awareness of changes in the technology sector and our products
- Uphold Department and Company rules and policies, including company procedures and HandS practices
- Travel to customer and supplier sites as required.
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Demonstrated track record of achievements
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of quality management tools, systems and practices, preferably with a 6 Sigma qualification
- Project management experience preferred
- Prefer to have the out-sourcing management experience
- Experience of working within a structured and disciplined environment such as ISO 9001, AS9100
Desirable Skills :-
- Fluent English - other languages beneficial - Germany, French, Japanese,Spanish
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numeric skills and the ability to present complex data in an understandable way
- Proficient presentation skills
- Good IT skills
- Methodical and organised approach to work
- Dedicated, highly self motivated individual, with keen attention to detail
- Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines
