SAP HR Canadian Payroll Consultant - 11 Months Contract - Seattle, WA
My client is looking for a SAP HR Canadian Payroll Consultant for a new implementation project based in Seattle.
The right candidate will have at least 8-10 years SAP HR experience, with at least 5 full implementation projects, doing blue print design, implementation, customization, configuration and post Go Live support, of all aspects of the SAP HR Payroll submodule for Canada.
Additional skills:
At least 5 implementations done in Canada Payroll
Canadian Payroll Association certification is an added advantage
Good understanding of full gross to net Canada payroll calculation and configuration including as well as schemas and rules, Finance integration, Taxes, Benefits, Garnishments, Bank Transfers, Third Party remittance Month end accruals and Off-Cycle. Also understanding underlying legal requirements.
Proficient experience with SAP HCM Payroll & Legal Reporting
Proficient experience with SAP HCM Time Management
Proficient experience in Year-end activities
Involved in small upgrades/Rollout is an added advantage
Should able to Evaluating customers' business needs, contributing to the overall strategic planning of SAP PY systems
Ability to interact with management and technical specialist and provide timely/quality advice
Should be good in understanding the business requirements and should have ability to prepare Functional Design Documents for development of various RICEFW objects (Forms, Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement and Workflows).
Should be able to lead the team
To work effectively within a team environment
Good Knowledge of Agile Methodology
Should have exposure to other modules of SAP HCM like ESS/MSS, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management and integration of HCM modules.
Should have actively worked on a minimum of 1 Full life cycle implementation or support project.
Role & Responsibility:
Assist and guide client in all phases of project life cycle.
Handle all phases like Design, document, implement, identify test scenarios, build test cases and test data, unit and integration testing, parallel payroll testing, integration, and parallel test plans.
Associate should able to lead team and should be able to work with other SAP HCM consultants as a team. Adapts best methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to complex problems.
Daily interaction with globally placed teams including India
