One of my key clients based in the west midlands are urgently seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager to work for an initial 6 months on a contract basis.
You will be leading activities and operations of the hardware team through assigning, coordinating, reviewing and participating in development programmes.
Accountabilities:
- Managing COE design related activities on a daily basis
- Manages CEO activities to meet business case targets (cost, technical and schedule)
- Coordinate with site managers from other sites to identify and improve the process
- Oversee and approve technical output from the department
- Responsible for structures development programme and on boarding new hires
- Support bid phase activities
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of hardware development in accordance with RTCA/DO178B
- 3-5 years leadership experience
- Ability to manage internal and external interfaces
- A proven track record for making process improvements with measurable results
- Strong understanding and ability within electronics design
