Description
A Renewable Energy client is looking for 2 Mechanical/Electrical Engineers' to work on their various offshore wind farm projects.
Our client is looking for the Engineers to start this 12 month placement from 1st July 2016 with the possibility of extending further. The individuals must be prepared to travel to the clients other offshore wind farm sites.
Responsibilities:
- To perform all tasks under the guidance and instruction from the Project Manager dedicated to the specific implementation project.
- To prepare RDS-PP (Reference Designation System for Power Plants) register of asset for specific wind farms based on templates
- Analyse OM documentation and extract and formalise maintenance requirement
- Based on OM documentation and extract and formalise maintenance requirement
- Based on OM documentation (single line diagrams, mechanical and electrical drawings etc) and the clients templates create site specific list of assets with RDS-PP reference
- Based on OM manuals and the clients template prepare site specific maintenance plans
- Take part in review sessions with O & M and engineers from construction
- Specialist knowledge of RDS-PP coding - standard for assets designation of wind farms
- Experience in maintenance programme development from WIND industry - mainly onshore and offshore substations, Met Mast, Pontoon, administration building, substation and turbines foundations
- Develop site specific maintenance programs following the clients templates covering balance of plant assets
- Experience with in working with OM documentation
- Experience from execution of maintenance activities at transmission assets preferably in the wind industry
- Knowledge and understanding of business operations and maintenance processes supported by computerised maintenance and management system preferably SAP PM
