Communications Leader - Hong Kong
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must already be based in Hong Kong and/or have a valid work permit for Hong Kong.
The role will involve the following:
The Communications Lead is responsible for all communications on behalf of our clients IT Program.
Working closely with the Program Leadership and other members of the Organisational Change and People team the role is responsible for conveying the Program's internal and external messages.
The role will manage the different communication channels established by the Program. The role will produce draft materials in the respective formats, prepare presentations and generally support the communications effort both within the project and externally with stakeholders, across the Group and suppliers.
Particularly important is the communication between the Program with employees across the Group in Hong Kong and all the other offices.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Communications Lead include:
- Ensuring the Program's Communication Strategy, Goals and Objectives are delivered.
- Establishing the required Communication channels, including leveraging existing channels.
- Produce draft materials and content for the respective channels in the respective format.
- Establish and update as required the Program's Communication Plan - including key messages with major milestones/key dates.
- Establish the necessary feedback mechanisms.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in a related discipline is preferred;
- Minimum 6 years' communications experience on major corporate change programmes - internal communication experience a plus;
- A creative thinker with the ability to translate complicated concepts into simple, fun, innovative multi-channel communications.
- Familiarity with Intranet/Internet content creation and management (strong social media management skills).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and in a team;
- Solid relationship building and people skills;
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Abilities to work cross-functionally and with all levels of staff to deliver results;
- Can-do attitude and interested in global exposure;
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus.
