SAP SD Consultant - ERP/SAP - Technical vs Functional - Pharmaceutical - Spain
For our global pharmaceutical client we are currently looking for experienced technical and functional SAP SD Consultant to work in sunny and beautiful Spain.
Job purpose:
- Perform solution/application design and business processes optimization in order to meet business, customer and technological requirements at a global level in the area of Sales.
- Develops and manages the respective business critical know-how within Sales process
- Translate complex business requirements into solutions and procedures meeting current business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Consults business on best use of ERP/SAP Sales IT solutions and applications to improve business performance
- Explains benefit and use of new/upgraded technology capabilities
- Supports business and IT governance in developing business cases and the assessment of change initiatives.
- Drives small to mid-level implementations, initiatives and change requests within own area of specialism
- Leads physical and virtual cross functional teams of internal and/or external resources
- Business continuity by working with Service Managers to resolve incidents, analyse problems and trends and propose and plan the implementation of solutions.
- Manages communication on technology change and plans end-user and business involvement in events (training, testing)
- Travel up to 70- 80% -
Key Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, IT or equivalent
- Minimum 7+ years' experience within SAP SD including working in multiple enterprise scale projects requiring IT/consulting expertise
- Good knowledge of integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules
- Thorough understanding of ERP Sales business processesas well as good understanding of customer's business model and IT opportunities and threats
- Familiarity with change management, risk management and quality management and awareness of project management methods
- Proven analytical skills with ability to drive efficient design concepts and deliver against milestones
- Process design and solution architecture, project management skills and experience
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Capable of working in an international environment with virtual teams
- Language skills: Fluent in English (verbal, written and comprehension)
