Description
Description: We are looking for a junior level person who is well versed with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking and monitoring. Our client is transitioning from one system to another and need a junior systems analyst to essentially swivel chair between the two systems and keep them up to date. The systems will be taught on the job. IT savvy and detail oriented are a must have!
Daily duties will include (this is not an exhaustive list, but representative only):
Daily standup meeting
System synchronization activities logging onto system A, reviewing activities, reports, results and updating system B to reflect those activities, reports and results. Potentially exporting and importing between systems, or creating reports to reflect synchronization status.
Documentation of process, determination of system differences and mitigating activity
Status reporting
Technical skills:
Technical skills such as coding, system implementation, etc. are not required. There may be some exporting and importing of data, but this will likely be via spreadsheet. More importantly, they need strong soft skills and strong Microsoft Office skills.
An experienced business analyst would be able to perform this role well. For example, an initial task will be helping define the process that will be followed and documenting that process. The bulk of the work will be performing the process (and looking for ways to improve it.)
Critical skills will be the ability to learn quickly, operate without handholding, collaborate well, and (within guardrails) make decisions.
