Purpose of the Role...
Our client, a global leader in consumer electronics and the core components that go into them, is looking for a Head of Partnership Development to join their fast paced team.
As the leader of the partnership development team within one of their key strategic partners, this is a high profile role with significant exposure to senior leaders both within this business and its partner organisation.
This is a crucial role driving development of deeper strategic partnerships with the company's most important customers across all product areas. Through deeper collaboration these partnerships will deliver significant innovation and performance improvement. It will be the central point for cross category sales and the long term success of the Smart Connected World proposition in key channels.
This individual will take ownership of the total in year and multi-year business planning, performance improvement and innovation programme for the partner organisation. Leading the diagnostics of performance challenges across partner marketing, sales, operational KPIs. They will lead the analysis; problem solving, business case and programme management of improvement plans across both Samsung and the partner organisation.
This person will use their expertise in shopper marketing/psychology, shopper journey improvement, digital marketing and E-commerce to bring significant performance to the business and its partner.
Key Responsibilities...
Lead the partner development team within a key partner.
Help define programme & project structure
Lead analysis and diagnostic process
Develop project business cases
Track and communicate project progress vs programme roadmap
Support project leads in delivering output to time and budget
Benefit and cost analysis tracking
Report, escalate and manage risks and issues
Facilitate meetings with internal & external stakeholders
Develop in-business PMO capability & function
Shopper insight and journey improvements
Digital Marketing and E-commerce development
In store execution innovation
To be successful in this role you will have:-
- Consulting/Relevant Industry Experience - FMCG customer development multifunctional team experience a plus.
- Experience of leading actionable shopper insight and customer journey improvements
- Experience of leading joint business planning processes.
- Significant cross functional Programme Management experience
- Portfolio management & delivery
- Change or transformation management experience
- A deep understanding of retail and its relationship with suppliers
- Preferably, a 2.1 degree or above from top university
