Description
Principal Accountabilities:- Providing oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
- Providing project planning (scheduling) support to the project team.
- Manage the project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensuring that project schedules are developed.
- Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
- Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
- Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
- Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive experience in planning of large CAPEX projects (such as Pharmaceutical, power or oil and gas companies) in multi-discipline teams.
- Planning responsibility through full lifecycle covering Conceptual Design, Detailed design and execution.
- Extensive knowledge of the software tool MS Project, previous experience of primavera would be beneficial.
- Working within a multi-disciplined project management matrix organisation.
- Experience of planning large scale Pharmaceutical brownfield/greenfield construction projects would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
