Description

Roc Search's client are currently searching for Planning Engineers to Nuclear New Build projects in the Bristol area.
The Role:
- Develop the IMS through the integration of contractor programmes (time & cost), internal activities and key interface dependencies to maintain an end-to-end schedule for the sub-programme.
- Support the development of Milestone Definition Sheets (MDS).
- Provide advice to contractors on the structure and content of their schedules.
- Assess contractors` baseline schedule and monthly updates providing an analysis of the technical integrity and content, recommending acceptance or rejection of contractor programmes.
- Support the verification of contractors earned value and review the alignment.
- Develop sub-programme knowledge to advise the Control Account Managers and contractors on re-planning and short term task planning as required.
- Support the process through input of current schedule plans.
- Produce schedule reports supporting the effective communication of schedule status in line with client requirements.
- Assess the impacts (time & cost) of proposed baseline changes.
- Review the content of instructed PMIs and their implementation within the contractors schedule.
- Support the development of appropriate planning working practices for the sub-programme.
- Work in adherence to the appropriate client processes and sub-programme working practices/processes.
Needs:
- P6 schedule development and administration.
- Detailed schedule development.
- Assuring design schedules.
- Assuring contractor schedules.
- Schedule risk analysis.
- Schedule interface management.
- Accepted programme management under NEC.
- Previous project experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage; Civils, Construction, Highways, Electrical or Mechanical.
