FTTH GPON Network Consultant
We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in South Africa.
Position Title: FTTH GPON Network Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: May 2016
Duration: 6 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- Fully responsible for solution development of consultancy, planning, design and implementation (FTTH/GPON/Copper) for Brown & Green Fields to ensure timely availability of network.
- Perform presentation to high level customers to introduce FTTx solution and integration abilities.
- Network consultancy or business consultancy with TCO/ROI analysis as required.
- Responsible to support the FTTx/ODN bidding and delivery projects to review solution architecture, scope of work, risk, cost, etc.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- More than 10 years experience in the field of telecommunication with leading operators or vendors.
- Excellent products/components knowledge and standards of fix access network.
- Strong experience in end to end fiber/copper access network, including planning, designing, implementation, service provision/migration, operation and maintenance.
- Deep understanding in the fundamental background of optical fibre telecommunications as well as being capable in applying the respective formulas and calculations.
- Experienced in optical fibre network, optical fibre design and civil work integration.
- Expert for designing, civil work integration and the material properties, also with the GPON network.
- Friendly personality as well as a good work attitude, used to work frequent overtime.
- Strong communication skills, client interfacing experience, good English.
