Electrical Building Services Engineer
An Electrical Building Services Engineer is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Electrical Building Services Engineer contract role
Building services design and design management providing day to day engineering guidance to projects. You will also provide effective leadership of multi-disciplined teams on projects, ensure effective delivery of projects in accordance with contract technical schedule and budget requirements.
Key skills required for the Electrical Building Services Engineer
- Degree qualified in relevant Electrical Engineering qualification.
- Chartered Engineer (MIET/MCIBSE).
- Significant relevant experience, in Electrical building services engineering design and project management with proven customer delivery performance and demonstrable knowledge of associated and contributory domains.
- City & Guilds 17th Edition Qualified, advantageous.
- Good working experience across project life cycle phases, demonstrating a whole-life approach to engineering.
- Experienced at leading teams of engineers on projects.
- Experience in customer facing role.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District
