A leading Energy and Utilities client of Pontoon is looking for an Internal Communications specialist to join their site in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity with the potential to truly make an impact on a large organisation going through a critical Transformation.
Job Purpose:-
- The role of Communication Consultant is to support the UK Communications Lead in delivering the Uniper strategy.
- The role is focussed on effective communication and engagement activities to deliver our business results and transformational change.
- This role operates across all areas of our business and interacts with internal stakeholders
Main responsibilities of role
- Creating communication and engagement plans
- Influencing stakeholders to agree to the communication and engagement plans
- Communications expert in the business function, or change programme
- Be a trusted member of leadership/project teams - helping shape and challenge the way we do things at Uniper, ensuring our stakeholders and colleagues are always front of mind.
- Align all activities to the broader UK and wider brand Strategy.
- Get the most out of the communication channels we have with targeted and brilliantly constructed content.
- Contributing towards the timely delivery and enhancement of all UK channels and media.
Key skill requirements
- Proven experience in an Internal Communications environment.
- Expert in change management communications
- Excellent communicator - verbal and written, strong attention to detail.
- Creative, but with a strong ability to plan and get things done.
- Excellent at building relationships with the ability to appropriately challenge the thinking of our senior leaders.
- Self starter, able to deal with a fast-paced environment and to meet challenging deadlines.
- Strong customer focus with the willingness to deliver against their needs.
- Strong interpersonal with the ability to adapt communication skills relevant for the audience.
