Your tasks:
- Identify consumer trends, new smartphone features, new markets and new business models by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
- Track individual contributors and their accomplishments
- Create European resource maps of unique competences/companies/institutes with potentials in technology and marketing for possible strategic collaborations
- Locate and propose potential business collaborations by contacting potential partners, discover and explore opportunities
- Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, collaboration requirements, potentials and financials
- Evaluate options, resolve internal priorities, recommend M&A opportunities
- Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examine risks and potentials, estimate partners' needs and goals
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Your qualifications
- Master or higher degree (preferred) in Engineering or other domain-related discipline
- Very deep experience of consumer electronic product design, product management, product marketing or business development with deep knowledge of smartphone eco-system
- Ability to cooperate with various functions including sourcing, legal, product management, R&D, sales and marketing across our global organisation
- Excellent skills in prospecting, presentation and influencing
- Fluency in English and one more language, Chinese or other European languages (written and spoken)
- Willing to travel frequently
