Description

An exciting contract opportunity has opened up, working for a Market leader within the banking industry.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining the OD (Organisation Design) tracking model and reporting OD movements and benefits against specific cost saving initiatives. you will have the confidence to engage in effective interaction with key stakeholders (HR Business Partners and key contacts within the business), alongside having ability to ensure the robust nature of data held in the model, and an ability to translate the key messages into reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the Organisation Design (OD) is accurately reflected in the OD tracking model via a monthly process to agree both current and future OD movements with key stakeholders (HR Business Partners and contacts within the business)

  • Produce key analysis driven by the model for consumption by the Bank's Executive via the Spendwise Committee, including converting an FTE view of the cost base to a financial view
  • Develop new reporting in line with the requirements of the Spendwise Committee
  • Ensure OD movements are appropriately categorised for reporting purposes
  • Ensure the data remains robust and explainable to senior stakeholders
  • Lead the governance for the relevant Spendwise meetings by arranging meetings, taking minutes and documenting decision approvals
  • Improve the processes for updating the model and controlling the data to ensure robust during a period of change within the bank

Key Accountability:

  • Commitment to accuracy and ability to ensure the integrity of the model is maintained and outputs remain robust
  • An analytical & logical thinker with the ability to understand and deal with complex issues and implement practical and innovative solutions to problems
  • Ability to ensure information communicated by non Finance contacts is appropriately reflected in the model
  • Able to translate complex information into a concise story with clear conclusions and recommendations
  • Ability to build strong working relationships in a Matrix structure across diverse functional and business leadership teams
  • Planning, organisation and prioritisation
  • Instigate change and develop new ideas without prompting
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Qualified accountant
