Description
IT Service Management Process Consultant required for a 6 month contract based in Dublin.
You will be required to clearly and comprehensively demonstrate experience of design and implementation of best practice IT Support management processes on important projects that are required to meet tight deadlines.
You must clearly demonstrate that you have the required experience that will enable you to prepare, plan and document a series of workshops with stakeholders to assess the current process's fitness for purpose.
You must also clearly and comprehensively demonstrate that you have the experience to design a desired state for the support processes and to prepare a plan including resources and schedule for implementation of the new desired state sufficient to achieve standards certification such as ISO 20000 and ISO 27001.
Experience required:
University degree with at least 5-7 years industry experience and a minimum of 3-5 years consulting experience in the IT Service Management process design and implementation area;
Additional experience in IT Operations, IT Infrastructure or as an IT Process Manager;
Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and how they can be applied in real world situations and have an understanding of how to develop the ITIL framework into a cohesive set of processes;
ITIL Intermediate certifications strongly preferred;
Technology knowledge to understand impacts and how processes apply to various technical areas;
Experience with IT Service Management tool capabilities such as Topdesk, BMC, HP, CA and ServiceNow.com highly desirable;
Experience with systems integration projects to design and implement IT Service Management tools;
Process design facilitation and workshop skills including striking a balance between conflicting requirements and resolution of disagreements between senior stakeholders;
