My confidential Local Government client is looking to recruit a Digital Communications Lead to establish and oversee their online presence, including the development of the programme's website and social media activity.
- Oversee the establishment of a website, working with our website providers to ensure its design and functionality meet our digital communications objectives, as agreed with the Strategic Communications Lead
- Maintain all Front End' aspects of the programme online web in its initial stages, including the commissioning, writing and editing of all web content, working in partnership with key stakeholders
- Promote and lead on the use of social media as a key media, engagement and communications tool, creating and distributing effective content to support delivery of both specific projects and the strategic outcomes of the programme
- Encourage and promote awareness and benefits of digital communication and engagement by providing practical advice and information to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the programme
- Enhance brand management through promoting and adhering to web and media protocols
- Act as support in relation to website or media projects in line with good practice, engaging with stakeholders and staff as necessary
