Description

My client are a Global IT and Defence organisation. They are currently seeking a UAM Consultant to work at their site based in Newcastle. This role is to be based within a contract position.

Due to the nature of the role and the timescales and requirements given by the client, it is asked that candidates hold current government security clearance.

Please find below full details in relation to the role, as provided by the client:

Job responsibilities:

  • Interpreting Architect (UAM) and LDAP Design solution into Low Level Technical specs

  • Attending Technical Workshops (Internal and Client facing)

  • Addressing and responding to technical queries, issues raised by Client and Internal Tech Leads

  • Technical delivery of solutions, based on signed off Low Level Technical Specs

  • Configure, Install changes required to LDAP instances ( Non Production/Production)

  • Production of Unit/Component and Integration test plans and scripts

  • Execute Unit/Component and Integration testing

  • Creation of Technical documentation (Build/Install/Delivered System Technical Specifications)

  • Support customer Testing - Defect resolution

  • Production of Operational Acceptance Testing - test plan

  • Deployment of delivered solution to Non Production and Production environment

  • Support project through Implementation phase

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years working experience in banking and IT

  • minimum of 3 years working (hands on) experience in LDAP and UAM technologies

  • Good understanding of Federation, SSO, OpenID Client, OAuth 2, SCIM technologies, and preferably a working experience in them

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within the Linux environment (Scripting, command line)

  • Fast learning attitude

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Professional and responsible approach to work with customer focus

  • Good team working skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with demanding stakeholders

  • Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills

Skills, Knowledge & Practical Experience Required

In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the following skills:

  • 1. Configuring/Administrating RHEL (RH directory services 9) Linux LDAP Instances - desirable
  • 2. Credential management (capabilities) - expert
  • 3. Working on UAM solutions - expert
  • 4. WebLogic Security Realms and custom authenticators - intermediate
  • 5. Java, SPRING - intermediate
  • 6. Knowledge of TIBCO (Service integration) - intermediate
  • 7. Experience with working with LDAP SCHEMAs (extensions) -expert
  • 8. LDAP client side tooling - expert
  • 9. Testing and implementing LDAP - expert
  • 10. Working knowledge of OpenDS/OpenDJ - desirable
  • 11. Experience of configuring/interfacing with Gluu SSO - highly desirable
