Supply Chain Specialist - Gloucestershire

An attractive opportunity to example your abilities in supply chain with one of the leading energy providers in the UK. The primary location will be in Gloucestershire however there will be a requirement to travel approximately twice monthly to Kent. There are 100+ projects currently in operation and to be delivered in a significant wider portfolio of work.

Scope of work

The role will require the individual to provide reporting on the various projects, governance and overall support to the supply chain team. This supply chain team is working with higher level contracts to provide the projects with design, engineering and people. Delivery of some projects will also form part of this role.

Knowledge/experience expected

In your role as supply chain specialist you will have:

* Strong analytical skills.

* Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with experience and ability in working with Senior Management

* Experience of developing supply chain strategies for projects.

* A good level of understanding of contract and commercial law and sound understanding of contractual terms and conditions.

* Project planning skills.

* Team Player

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Logical thinker
