Snr. Process EngineerOur biopharmaceutical client is currently undertaking a large new build program on their production site in Austria and is looking for an experienced Process Engineer.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client senior management team for the full lifecycle of the new build project, through basic and detailed design, construction, supplier selection, procurement, installation, documentation and product transfer process.

Role:
- Work closely with the client senior management team for the full lifecycle of the project.
- Overall responsibility for working closely with the selected design company partner acting as a subject matter expert on Biopharmaceutical design engineering of new build facilities.
- Provide knowhow, advice and direction to the design company to ensure the best design solution for the client’s requirements.
- The Process Engineer will be responsible for project documentation including RFI, PFD, URS and technical specifications.
- The Process Engineer will also work closely with the client senior management team to prepare all tender documentation for suppliers, review incoming information and provide detailed analysis for the selection of suppliers.
- Ensure compliance to GMP and FDA regulations for the full lifecycle of the project.
- Support in troubleshooting, process improvement and solution finding activities.
- Be responsible for communication of project progress to senior management team.
Requirements:
- Experience in Biopharmaceutical cell culture facilities.
- Strong engineering experience in lead and hands positions.
- Experience with stainless steel technologies.
- Strong experience within GMP regulated environments.
- Excellent large CAPEX project experience and the ability to work independently and take responsibility for part of the project.
- Previous experience of designing a biopharmaceutical facility, with full lifecycle experience essential.
- Previous experience of writing and reviewing project documentation including RFI, PFD, URS and technical specifications.
- Previous experience of the supplier selection process.
- Strong knowledge and experience of how to manage an external design supplier.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to drive internal and external effort to deliver client requirements.
- Fluent German language skills are essential.
