Description
POTENT is an independent, print and digital magazine that showcases the dominant force of Caribbean culture, globally. We're looking for vivid storytelling, cultural reporting, and think pieces that are tactful, honest, and engaging.Writers should be comfortable:
- Producing original content that provide insight into the region and communicates the influence of Caribbean culture.
- Generating and pitching story ideas for print and digital issues.
- Fact-checking and copy-editing articles for submission.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Researching various topics that align with the editorial vision and voice of the magazine.
A bilingual writer is a plus (Spanish, French, Kryol, Dutch). Must have prior experience (at least 1 year) writing for a magazine.
