Established organisation specialised in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, looking for a (freelance) senior project engineer. This organisation has multiple sites in the Netherlands and also has a global presence. This particular production site specialises in medical nutrition.
About the job
I am looking for a validation engineer to help support the validation engineering teams with continuous processes. The team is mainly responsible for equipment and cleaning validation, as well as providing technical input for material, release and testing-related validations.
The main activities of this site are related to powder production with techniques used like spray and freeze drying, drying, blending and packaging of powders in cans.
The validation engineer must have a background or affinity with QA as you're representing and promoting quality standards in the production environment. As this not a plant that produces API's, but medical nutrition the validation engineer must understand concepts behind validation and GMP regulations.
Profile requirements
*In depth knowledge on GMP
*Knowledge on aseptic processes and process equipment
*Multiple years validation experience
*Strong communication skills
*Experience working with powders and techniques like blending, freeze- and spray drying, and packaging
*You have strong analytical and strong conceptual thinking.
*BSc. + in relevant field
*Experience in validation, process optimisation and process design projects
