My client, a global manufacturing company, who have their HO in Hersham are looking for an External Communications Manager with 5 years B2B experience. (ideally corporate) to cover for maternity leave. Starting on 6th September 2016
The ideal person will have an undergraduate degree in communications, journalism or a complimentary discipline.
Strong written and verbal communications and the ability to seek out PR opportunities.
Another European language would be advantageous but not essential.
The main job purpose is to manage the Company's corporate reputation including media relations, crisis planning in EMEA, local stakeholder engagement .
Working with colleagues in Employee and Visual Communications, Marketing teams to support trade PR plans and build appropriate profile for new products, services and technologies with relevant business audience and journalists from the trade press across all sectors in Europe.
