Electrical Engineer



Our biopharmaceutical client is currently undertaking a large new build program on their production site in Austria and is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer.



The successful candidate will work closely with the client senior management team for the full lifecycle of the new build project, through basic and detailed design, construction, supplier selection, procurement, installation, documentation and product transfer process.



Location: Austria

Contract duration: 12 months initially

Project duration: 5+ years



Role:



- Work closely with the client senior management team for the full lifecycle of the project.

- Responsibility for working closely with the selected design company partner acting as a subject matter expert on electrical engineering.

- Provide knowhow, advice and direction to the design company to ensure a technically robust and safe solution.

- The work flow responsibility covers electric flow from entrance to the building, to the fuse box, to the cabinets in process areas and finally to the individual equipment.

- Ensure compliance to GMP and FDA regulations for the full lifecycle of the project.

- Review all design documentation inclusive for electrical engineering to ensure target outcome has been achieved.

- Support in troubleshooting, process improvement and solution finding activities.

- Be responsible for communication of project progress to senior management team.



Requirements:



- Experience in Biopharmaceutical cell culture facilities.

- Strong engineering experience in lead and hands positions.

- Experience with stainless steel technologies.

- Strong experience within GMP regulated environments.

- Excellent large CAPEX project experience and the ability to work independently and take responsibility for part of the project.

- Previous experience of designing a full electric set up for a green or brownfield biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. 

- Previous experience of electoral flow from building entrance to equipment.

- Strong knowledge and experience of how to manage an external design supplier.

- Fluent German language skills are essential.
