Cloud Procurement Lead
- Rate: £400 - £700 per day
- Duration: 6 months + extensions
- Location: City of London
- Start date: July/August
My client is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead specialising in the cloud space to join a leading professional services organisation based in London. You will ensure all the required tools, components and services are procured. The tools and components consist of software and occasionally hardware, while the services can be human capital or external providers who will work to develop the stack. The platform consists of 80 tools and components which are either used to develop the platform or will reside in the stack that is licenses to the clients
Responsibilities
- Regular commercial discussions held with vendors and suppliers
- An in depth technical understanding of what functions the tools and components perform
- Managing internal stakeholders such as R&Q, OGC, IPGG, and the data protection team
- Leading weakly work stream meetings and feeding into the Design Authority on a weekly basis who make key decisions
- Ensuring that the procured tools fit within the commercial offering of engage by updating the commercial and financial work stream
- Being the day to day work stream lead you will have great visibility to senior Partner's and Directors as you report directly into them in weekly Governance meetings
