OTC Clearing Client Integration - Client On boarding
The Futures & Options and OTC Clearing Client Integration operations team is responsible for managing all new client account coordination and set-up.
The Onboarding team works closely with both the client and various teams internally (sales, legal, technology, client services, etc) to ensure a seamless transition and on boarding process from the mandate to go-live. The scope of mandates covers organic client growth as well as new relationships to the firm and/or F&O/OTC Clearing. The integration and give-up documentation representative will also assist and/or drive projects including internal efficiency, process improvement and new market or product launches.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop strong client relationships; ability to diffuse difficult client escalations
- Partner with key senior members of the F&O Business team to understand their business strategy and client approach
- Partner with multiple other internal colleagues to drive client solutions and roll out tactical and strategic tools that will improve communication, client experience and time to market
- Partner with multiple internal partners to assist with the delivery of new market and product offerings
- Articulate front to back operational offering of the F&O and OTC Clearing operations offering
- Implement a strong control culture within the team that consists of well defined procedures, approval checks and balances and controlled processes
- Assess risks and gaps with the BAU processing, escalate and formulate remediation plans
- Ownership of the delivery of information for internal and external audit requests
- Project manage clean up of historical data and processes that drive Regulatory, Compliance and Audit concerns
- Assess existing processes and drive initiatives to streamline and improve
- Develop metric reporting and updates for the Business and Senior Operations Management
- Review and approve client accounts and give-up agreements for go-live
Required Skills:
- College degree (degree in business field preferred)
- Experience in global financial markets (Cleared Derivatives -Futures & Options, OTC Clearing)
- Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, and as well as business best practices is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to take ownership of tasks and processes
- The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task, be detail oriented and possess effective time management skills
- Experience managing client relationships
- Proven success driving projects and initiatives
- Ability to assess risk, implement controls and streamline existing processes
- Ability to problem solve, outline and propose both tactical and strategic solutions
- Ownership in identification and remediation of audit issues
- Supervise and oversee daily operational tasks
- Advanced Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a necessity
- Experience working with GMI is a plus, as well as other systems associated with cleared Futures and Derivatives
- Experience working in a global environment with outsourced partners would also be considered as a benefit
