London
Salary £24,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
An exciting, varied and challenging opportunity to join our digital team of marketers, editors, designers and developers working in a fast paced retail environment, across a number of websites with the majority of your work around our Simply Home Entertainment and Moviemail brands, as well as some collaboration with Reader's Digest and our other white label platforms.
The role requires a commercially minded content marketer, with a proven track record of campaign and content marketing. You will be devising and implementing creative ways to attract, engage and grow online traffic and increasing revenue - all in line with agreed targets and within budget. Equally you will be responsible for developing existing content to maximise revenue potential, and research advertising opportunities.
You will work as part of a small team, and together you are responsible for proactively developing our online strategies to deliver and grow revenue, through content creation, data analytics and multi-channel marketing across multiple e-commerce websites. Your main mission will be to drive footfall, increase online sales on the site, and build brand awareness online. You will be expected to take ownership of and manage the tracking of all sales revenues, and will work to optimise conversion and identify new opportunities.
Excellent writing and editing skills combined with a broad knowledge of all matters e-commerce is essential, and an understanding of disciplines such as conversion optimisation, web analytics and user experience is a must. You must have good project management skills and ability to drive commercial performance through web performance using retail metrics.
Responsibilities:

  • Content marketing across all e-commerce websites
  • Collaborate in the development of company-wide SEO strategy across our digital platforms
  • Supporting the editorial team to write/edit engaging features to grow audience
  • Producing, proofing and editing copy for use across our consumer-facing content platforms
  • Write original copy for our own label DVDs and other priority titles for SEO purposes
  • Sharing analytics and audience insights with the editorial and marketing teams to help refine and enhance content strategy
  • Work with third parties to set up competitions and exclusive content designed to retain and grow our audience, as well as develop and implement internal ideas
  • Write engaging brand newsletters and develop ideas to increase subscriptions, tracking analytics and audience behaviour
  • Campaign management and promotional strategy across all websites
  • Product and content management on company websites
  • Analyse the online customer experience and identify new ways to improve functionality and revenue opportunities for all brands
  • Manage and implement conversion optimisation strategies to drive revenue per visitor, and monitor performance through data analytics
  • Recommend site enhancements and liaise with IT and design to develop these
  • Monitor the competition and identify opportunity
  • Work with editorial team to maximise link opportunities within blogs and articles and create product landing pages and offers
  • Identify new online opportunities and build strong relationships with other partners
  • Track all traffic and conversion through Google Analytics and circulate results
  • Manage, Track and analyse Affiliate and PPC campaign performance
  • Manage Social Media content and exploit marketing opportunities
  • CRM marketing
