SAP Module Specialist- Profit Centre Accounting, Controlling, Sales & Distribution, S4 and Hana
3 SAP Module Specialists with SAP, Profit Centre Accounting, Controlling, Sales & Distribution, S4 and Hana is required to work on a six month contract (WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION) for our Engineering client based in Lancashire.
This is an opportunity to work on contract for our Engineering and Aerospace Client.
Overview of the SAP Module Specialists contract role
Would you like to work in a multi-functional role as part of newly formed team? We currently have a vacancy for a SAP Module Specialist at our client site in Preston
As a SAP Module Specialist, you will be managing the operation, change and growth of SAP to add value to the customer. You will be involved in supporting users, defining new features and functionality and implementing change under the guidance of the Product Owner
This role will require a deep understanding of SAP and how to fully utilise SAP functionality to optimise business processes, as well as being responsible for elements of each utilised SAP module. They will understand how the modules are/can be configured and they will understand the processes used by the business.
Your main responsibilities as a SAP Module Specialist will involve:
Having to be accountable for managing the development, configuration and support of SAP module(s)
Being responsible for the delivery of SAP capabilities; for example Finance/Profit Centre Accounting, Materials Management, Controlling, HR, Sales and Distribution and Project System
Engaging with the user population to understand their challenges and offer best practice and advice on ideas to improve business processes. Work with the team to appropriately prioritise and implement these changes
Driving issue resolution and resolving underpinning problems, involving working with suppliers, senior leaders and industry peers to continuously improve delivery of new value
Translating customer requirements into technical design
Your skills and qualifications:
Good understanding of SAP Architecture and how SAP integrates with other systems
Understanding of the SAP roadmap (eg S4 and Hana)
Strong knowledge of the modules in SAP; what they does, how they work and how they are used by the industry and knows how to design, build and support the product
Experience in Finance/Profit Centre Accounting, Materials Management, Controlling, Project System, Sales and Distribution, Business Intelligence and Human Resource
Desirable
Preferable experience of SAP in large enterprise organisations
The role will have a deep understanding of SAP and how it is configured for the business, they will live and breathe the Agile manifesto and will use processes, tools and culture to continuously improve what they do and how they work for the delight of the customer. Adding value everyday will be a key goal.
The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds
