Social Media Marketing Manager- £300-£400pd- Edinburgh- 8 Months Contract/Interim
TechNET IT have been chosen as the partner for a large Digital Bank based in the North of England. Due to continued success and growth they are looking to recruit a Social Media Marketing Manager to join their team.
Role Responsibilities
- Implement all aspects of the Social media strategy, working with internal stakeholders & external agency partners
- To own & get approval for the weekly content plans supporting the social media strategy
- Influence & align with our co-creation and digital community plans
- Ensure that for all social media marketing activity, there is detailed consideration of the distribution strategy to drive commercial value from the activity
- Ensure that all insights & trends from Social media are communicated widely across the business & acted on, with feedback to customers where appropriate
- Be a subject matter expert in the business, helping wider stakeholders understand the role of social media & best in class benchmarks that we set for ourselves
- Be a respected member of the Digital marketing team and influence broader digital marketing considerations and the wider social media considerations across the business
- To set targets for social media engagement, ensure all social media marketing activity is measured and KPIs are met
- Ensure all social media marketing is compliant, clear fair & not misleading
- Ensure that all social media activity is aligned with PR teams
- Ensure that social media activity is aligned with digital community activity & the social response team are clear of all activity & inbound implications from it.
Experience and Qualifications
- 3 + years in Social Media Marketing (ideally within Banking/Digital banking/Finance)
- Marketing Degree
- Adaptable, used to working under pressure
- Digital Marketing experience
- Positive/Enthusiastic outlook
