Tangent International are seeking a Key Account Manager to work a 9 month extendable contract based in Milton Keynes. Working as a sole staff member in-market, as part of a global service delivery team, and alongside client staff in-market. Reporting to a service delivery lead in Germany. 
9 month contract paying cira £40k.

Responsibilities:
A role for the Key Account Manager for a market (one of ~26 in the global programme), responsible for managing the roll-out programme within that market across multiple automobile retail dealerships. The roll-out programme includes technology hardware and digital signage implementation in the dealerships, and the management of recruitment and coaching of new sales roles and customer contact roles.

  • KAM role is the person primarily responsible for liaison with the client's local entity in the market, and all the dealerships within that market. Keep the local market leads informed of progress, notify them of issues with suggested resolutions, listen to their concerns and action as appropriate.
  • Report to the global headquarters leadership on all programme activity related to that market.
  • Closely and proactively manage the roll-out activity for each of the dealerships within market on a daily basis, liaising with hardware distributor and field force.
  • Report rollout success, critical activity, issues, risks.
  • Update and manage a detailed roll-out plan for the market, using the global Project Management Office (PMO) support team (based in another country) and regularly communicate updates on rollout so that the global program is up to date.
  • Each dealership signs up to the programme on a case-by-case basis, so selling the programme and managing the purchase agreement is included in the responsibilities of the KAM role.
  • Directly reporting to central leadership based in Germany.
  • Working alongside client staff in local market head office.

Skills/experience

  • Account management/client management experience
  • Experience in Project planning: Updates to rollout plans, Rearrange slots, continuous optimization and adaptation of slot plan
  • Experience in proactive project management
  • Operational experience in 3rd party supplier management.
  • Experience in a fast-moving work environment; demonstrated ability to manage own workload proactively and effectively.
  • Experience working closely with colleagues in other countries (using conference calls, Lync/Skype text chat and video calls, and other remote communication technology).
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Proficient in English spoken and written, local market language spoken and written mandatory. Additional German language an advantage.
  • Role will be based within the client's main office in the market in question. Some travel to important dealerships within market is expected.
  • Automobile industry experience highly desirable.
