Hellbent is going through some restructuring and needs a couple fearless, creative writers to help us move forward!We're currently searching for:
- Bomb-ass Staff Writer
- Social Media Boss
Ideal candidates will be:
- from a marginalized subset of society
- interested in different points of view, even the unpopular and outrageous
- all about the cultural arts, travel, and the sociopolitical
- delighted by the bizarre
- openminded, funny, intelligent AF
- confident in using your, you're, its, it's, there, their, and they're correctly
- Millenial-minded but totally able to relate to other generations and everyone from all walks of life
- in the San Antonio, TX area (preferably) to go on assignments with creative director Yve Chairez
Staff Writer will be responsible for weekly website content and 2-3 articles/op-eds per issue; will also carry out co-curator duties with direction from/collaboration with Yve; collaborate with Social Media Boss on campaigns to promote content
Social Media Boss will be responsible (with direction from Yve) for growing Hellbent's social media presence, assisting with daily posts on all social channels, keeping up with relevant topics/holidays/news, collaborating with the Staff Writer on campaigns to promote content
