Description
My client a electronics provider are seeking a senior compliance engineer. You will need to be experienced in compliance for electronic products. Being a strong communicator is a key part of this role as you will need to speak to certified bodies such as TUV. Having a background in electronics and NOT systems is vitial here. Product awareness is important, such as Functional safety IEC61508 knowhow for LVD, EMC power electronics within the digital/analog domain.
Duties
Certification of electronic products
Dealing with TUV on a daily basis
reporting faults back to the design team,.pointing out design issues, is their failsafe
Understanding with LVD/EMC/analogue/digital products
Strong understanding of IEC61508
