The Employee Relations team sits with HR, The Employee Relations Advisor plays a pivotal role in coaching, advising and supporting line managers in delivering the appropriate responses to employee relations matters, including but not limited to: disciplinaries, capabilities, grievances, absence management, flexible working and mediation.

The Employee Relations team sits within HR. The Employee Relations Advisor plays a pivotal role in coaching, advising and supporting line managers in delivering the appropriate responses to Employee Relations matters, including but not limited to: disciplinary cases, capability cases, grievances, absence management, flexible working and mediation.

The role-holder requires working knowledge of HR policies and must have sufficient HR experience. The successful applicant will support the wider Employee Relations team and HR Business Partners to achieve key deliverables.

To be successful in this role some experience or understanding in the following is required:

  • Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Managing and resolving conflict
  • HR administration
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, processes and procedures
